Walking through the streets gulping, feeling utterly nervous. Mark Chang had just arrived to the city. His parents had to move to this place because of job relocation. He just got transferred into a strange school known as Original C. High School. Mark didn’t know what to expect his last school was pretty normal and quite boring in his opinion. He got to the gates of the school and mumbled to himself, “Great this is where I’m going to learn? Sure the place looks incredible but that usually means I’m going to be surrounded by snooty rich people.” he sighs. The school does indeed look quite majestic.

The gates were made of solid platinum and shown no rust, shining brightly in the sunshine. The gates lead to a walkway with a row of trees on both sides giving shade to those who walk along it. The walkway itself was made of several different stones giving it a multi-colored pattern. The walkway lead to the school itself which was massive. The front of the school had a couple stairs and a slope for the handicap to get to the entrance. There were four doors that go into the school evidently placed there for the reason of large crowds wanting to get into the school at once. The school was tall and had several windows for each floor. Mark walked through the gates and noticed something fascinating. The school held several different races and no not humans races. It held dragons, nekos, furries, demons, vampires, angels, and many many more.

Mark was astonished seeing all the different beings here that he began to walk mindlessly and bumped into someone knocking himself back. Regaining his senses he immediately apologized to the person he bumped into. The person picked the boy back up putting him back on his feet. Mark looked at the person though he didn’t expect the first thing he would see was a slightly exposed cleavage. He yelps and jumps back a bit seeing the full appearance of the person. “Sorry! I’m so sorry I bumped into you,” Mark said completely flustered. He sees a tall mysterious woman in front of him wearing a business suit. He noticed the woman has eyes as green as grass and pink haired tied into a ponytail. She spoke with a soothing gentle voice to him. “It’s fine,” the woman says casually, “Just be more careful and try not to bump into anyone today.” The pink haired woman eyes Mark making him a little nervous. Thoughts were streaming into his head wondering who she is and why was she on school grounds. As if she read his mind she begun to answer the questions he had in his head. “I should introduce myself I’m the principal of the school. All the students like you have to call me Principal Cecil. You should run along now you don’t want to be late.” Mark grew surprised at his questions being answered. (He didn’t exactly say them after all.) Acknowledging what the principal said he quickly runs towards the school building and looks around to try and find which is his homeroom class.

Mark begins to pant from all the running around he’s been doing but looks up happily finally have found his classroom. On the door it said “2-F” Mark gulps a little nervous he wasn’t sure what his classmates would be like however, he knew he shouldn’t just avoid this and enters the room. The classroom looks like an old typical classroom. A podium at the front where the teacher would stand behind and behind that is the whiteboard where the lessons would be on. There were six rows of desk where the students would sit and infact some students were already here sitting and doing something. To the left was the windows and black school curtains. Mark walked into the classroom looking at some of the students that would now be his classmates for the entire year. The first one he happens to notice is a silver haired neko boy reading a book wagging his tail in delight. Next to him was a little snake boy sitting on a desk customized for him on top of the regular desk munching on a large (to the snake boy) apple. Mark looks to the back row of the class and he breaks into a cold sweat seeing a few students to him they all look very intimidating. The first of the intimidating students he sees is a male with jade green hair and brown eyes. The green haired student frowning exposing his sharp carnivore edged teeth. The thing that Mark notices from this student is his large green scaly tail making Mark assume he must be some sort of crocodile. He also notices a band aid on his cheek which leaves Mark wondering if this guy gets into fights a lot. The guy next to him was equally maybe even more scary than the green haired student. That student had sort of spiky red hair and was glaring the entire time Mark was looking at him. The red haired male had on him red fingerless gloves to match his hair color making Mark wonder why would he have those on? The student looked at Mark and Mark instantly looked away thinking he’d die if he makes eye contact with the guy. He feels that the person is no longer looking at him then sighs mumbling to himself. “Well my first impression of my classmates so far...they’re a colorful bunch. This should be an interesting school.” Mark casually walks towards the seat with his name on it and sits down.

The school bell sounded off, it meant class is starting. Most of the students in class were talking amongst themselves but all the chatter came to a halt when the classroom door opened and the teacher walked in. The teacher looked very average yet also strange at the same time. The teacher looked like an average human being however, his choice of wardrobe was...distinct. He wore a striped sweater that was dark brown and light brown, wore a blue scarf that he wrapped around his neck, tanned pants that extend downward up to where his shins are, and finally black shoes. The weather wasn’t exactly suitable for that type of clothing. The weather is quite warm and sunny a normal person would be sweating like crazy wearing such clothes but, the man looked completely unaffected. The man stood in front of the podium and spoke with a calm voice. “Good morning class. I am going to be one of your two teachers for the duration of your school life here. My name is Liar and you all may call me Mr. Liar. I expect you all to be on your best behavior in my class otherwise, I’ll be sending you to the principal’s office.” One of the students raised their hand to ask a question. “Um Mr. Liar” the student shyly responds, “When did this get established? I mean the having such a small amount of teachers teaching us and what do you mean by “the duration of your school life here”?.” Mr. Liar smiled and responded, “It’s something the principal is trying out. She wants only teachers trained into all different subjects for the classroom setting and a different set of teachers for class that is outside the classroom setting. She’s also trying out the idea that a teacher and class would be much more closer if they are together for a long period of time. Honestly I bet all of you will be sick of me by the time you graduate. I believe that should answer your questions. Since this is the first day there won’t be any teaching I’ll just explain all the rules and regulations of this place and you all can go home.” After that long speech he gave out Mr. Liar then began to discuss all the rules and the expectations the school has for the students.

Mark looked around observing what his classmates were doing during the teacher’s discussion. The silver haired neko was intently listening possibly going to adhere to all of the rules. The looked behind making sure the teacher doesn’t notice and saw as he expected, the green haired (what he still assumes) crocodile boy cleaning some ear wax out of his ear looking utterly bored. Mark turns around to not get in trouble especially since getting in trouble on the first day would be rather....dumb. Mark decides to take a look at the front row of the class not being able to see their faces seemed like a problem, but it gave him a chance to know what other kinds of students there are. He sees a student that catches his eye. The student was sitting near the window, enjoying the sun’s ray going through the window sill. The only thing Mark can make out from looking at the back of the student was a black scaly tail with a forked end. Resembling the look of a snake’s tongue. He decided to stop looking at the students around him not wanting to get caught not listening to the teacher’s talking. After a hour or so Liar says something that makes the students a little bit surprised.

“Now that you’ve endured me telling you all the rules I’m sure all of you are tired of listening. So!” he suddenly slams his hands into the podium. “For the last few minutes of class I want each and everyone of you to introduce yourselves to as many of your classmates as you can. Give a nice friendly introduction and make some friends these are going to be the people you are going to have to be with for the rest of the year.”

With that all the students in the room get out of their seats to introduce themselves to each other. By either coincidence or perhaps fate the people who Mark was watching were the only ones who gone up to him and introduce themselves. The alligator guy was the one to come up and introduce himself Mark gulped nervously expecting a sinister glare or some physical assault for looking at the guy earlier being bold and bracing himself for what he expects to come.

“I’m Chay. I’m a jade dragon! And also the smexiest guy here!” Chay flexes in front of Mark showing off his muscles. Mark wasn’t paying attention however, he stopped listening after Chay mentioned he was a dragon. He knew that there would be dragons attending this school but, he only saw what people would consider feral dragons that he’s only seen in books. Mark snaps back into reality realizing Chay was still talking, luckily for him Chay wasn’t paying attention to see if he was listening and Chay was just finished talking. The silver haired neko gently pushed Chay out of the way holding with him the tiny naga from earlier looking at Mark eagerly. Chay yelled in protest but stopped when the neko whimpered.

“H-Hello I-I’m Shiro! Well...I hope we become good friends!” having said that overly excited his tail wagging furiously. The naga on his palm couldn’t help but giggle at the neko’s enthusiasm. “And I’m Luffi!” the young naga hissed. “I hope we will become friends as well.”

Mark looks at the three he just met and gives them a smile introducing himself to the three. However, Mark notices the two he was watching earlier were staying in their seats not getting up to introduce themselves. The red haired boy from the back of the room was just looking disinterested in getting to know the other people in the classroom while on the other hand the black haired boy with the tail was covering himself looking rather shyly and afraid to speak to the other people in the class. Mark looks curious as to why the two gentlemen are the only ones not getting up and doing what the teacher told them to do; Shiro and Chay notice the direction Mark is looking at and decide to tell them about the two which catches Mark off guard since he wasn’t paying attention much. “The red-head with the angry looking expression is known as Ros. The principal made eye contact with him before and she instantly appointed him to lead the Discipline Committee of our school. I’ve also been long time friends with him.” Shiro said with a smile that didn’t seem to be fading anytime soon. “The other one is a dragon like me!” Chay says confidently, “He’s a different kind of dragon named Xron. He’s a fang dragon so you better not be confused and think he’s a jade dragon like me. I guess...you could say he and I are friends.” Chay finishes his statement showing his fangs while grinning. To Mark this seemed really hard to believe, Shiro seemed such a sweet and kind soul while Ros looked ready to punch someone on instinct, Chay seemed...well cocky and prideful while Xron looked really shy and anti social... in Mark’s opinion personality wise Shiro should have been long time friends with Xron and the same to Chay and Ros. While Mark was trying to process these new pieces of information the bell rings loudly radiating through the school.

The teacher Mr. Liar looks at the clock, “It rang faster than I thought it would.” Mr. Liar stood up and spoke aloud so all the students could hear. “Well class that was the bell. I’ll see you all tomorrow at the same time. Just remember to do your best and have fun while attending this school. That is all.” After Mr. Liar finishes up talking all the students in the class began leaving. Mark was hoping to maybe walk home with Chay, Shiro, and Luffi since they just met and wanted to get to know them more. Unfortunately, the three had already made plans and weren’t able to walk with Mark today. Mark gives a solemn sigh but looks at the three in an understanding way and waves at them as he got his things and left school. It may have seemed not that eventful but to Mark it was very productive in that he already seems to have made three new acquaintances. Mark looks back seeing the school shining brightly in the light as students walk out of it on their way home or to some place to hang out. Surely, this school and all the people in it will be very colorfully entertaining.
